Ollie was born a happy and healthy baby girl, but that changed when she developed a cold at six months old. Tests found she had a heart condition and she has since developed severe refractory drug-resistant epilepsy
Ollie’s short life has presented her with challenge after challenge, and now this little girl has anywhere from 50–250 seizures every day. That means she cannot run around and play like most kids her age.
To keep Ollie safe, her parents have set up a special play area with mattresses in their home, but she needs more space to walk around, play and keep her motor skills and strength.
It goes without saying that Ollie’s condition is hard on her family. Her mother, Mandy, is with Ollie at all times to keep her safe and catch her when she has a seizure. It’s impossible to imagine what they have all been through, and this family is so deserving of the help they’re about to receive.

When Triple M heard about this family, they asked if we would help out on an extension to the family home (we did something similar with them in 2018 for a little boy called Henry). We instantly said yes and our whole team is really proud to be donating their time to this project.
The extension is an outdoor area that is completely padded, allowing Ollie to play and spend time with her brothers in a safe environment. Having this space for the whole family is going to drastically change their quality of life and Ollie’s physical wellbeing.
We have installed the electrical for the extension, including lighting, power outlets and fans. As soon as we told our suppliers and contractors, they were onboard and happy to donate whatever they could. A huge thanks goes to Sundriven Solar for helping to relocate the home’s solar panels, and Elite Refrigeration for help installing the air-conditioning.
Giving back to the community has been our mission from day one, but we can only do such much alone. Being surrounded by like-minded businesses has been an incredible feeling as we embarked on this project.
With many of the trades from the Triple M Lend-a-hand Henry project coming back to work on this home, we know this will be another special chapter of our business that we will always remember.
